THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU HAVE A BESPOKE KITCHEN

BEFORE THE DESIGN STAGE

Many of our clients have been keeping a scrap book from relevant magazines of kitchen, rooms, paint styles etc. they like, Bespoke will never copy an existing design but design clues and a visual reference of your taste will always add to the design mix

Completing our wish list form before we visit will often help you qualify some of your ideas, although we are very happy to take you through this process

If you are seeing us due to a recommendation, take a closer look at your friends' kitchen, look inside the cabinets, look at how we have solved storage solutions for them, ask them what they might do differently another time? (We are constantly learning and are always happy to hear suggestions)

BEFORE THE FINAL SURVEY

We require as finished a site as practically possible, a finished floor level must have been established and fixed, walls whenever possible should be plastered to allow for accurate measurements, first fix of all plumbing and electrics must be completed.

The more you are in contact with our production team during the building process of your project, the better, it really helps us to have bi-weekly updates on the build stage as we want to time the final survey and the arrival of your furniture perfectly.

BEFORE OUR FURNITURE INSTALLATION BEGINS

The site must be plastered and dry

The floor must be installed

Safe access must be established

All other trades must be able to work elsewhere

The Aga must be pre-fitted

First fix plumbing and electrics must be completed to Bespoke requirements

Security and insurance on site must be your responsibility

All stage payments must have been paid or agreed with Bespoke

Initial room decoration is possible before Bespoke arrives, (some re-touching will be necessary on completion)

Second fix of plumbing, electrics, gas etc. must be completed within the new regulations and guidelines and completed by a certificated trade

Bespoke will not fit furniture into a site that does not adhere to the above points, our ambition is to supply to you the very best possible job and we will not compromise our furniture on site, we will not deliver to site if site is not ready. Do talk to us at all stages, (or your project manager) to avoid this occurrence.
